  1. Hihi, so proud of you! Hope the Pacific trail has lots of cool shade and air for you (it's awfully muggy in Philly right now). Can't wait to hear stories! In the words of the great Bay to Breakers, "Feets, don't fail me now!" Seriously, after looking at your itinerary I'm concerned for your little itty bitty feetsies. Be safe, pretend you're not there if you see a bear, and post often! Miss yous, janabanana

  2. Thanks for the way to post comments.
I'm glad you made it through the first 2 days - and nights. How is Jean's ankle? I guess it must be behaving. Connor, you must have those blisters. Don't let them get too bad. Kylie, are you doing okay?
I think about all of you daily and imagine all the wonderful sights you must be seeing. And I wonder about all the darkness and strange sounds that may break the silence of the night. Hope you are able to sleep well. I think Jean would have the most problem with that. Keep your nutrition up and keep hydrated.
    take care, Rick

  3. I bookmarked this site after you left and check it EVERY day even though I know you can't post daily. Enjoyed the FB pictures. I am so excited that you are still hiking strong and having a blast. No ankles to ruin the experience. Keep on truck'n, chicas!
